New forage sorghum impresses
19 April 2004:
The Crawford family runs a mixed cropping and beef cattle operation at Kumbia in the South Burnett. In November last year, they planted five hectares of Pacific BMR as a forage crop to finish steers. Peter Crawford said last summer was the first opportunity they have had to try the recently released forage sorghum variety.   View full article

Winners all Pacific Seeds' growers
02 April 2004: The winners of the RASQ Toowoomba Show's dryland crop competitions have been announced with some very impressive yields in a difficult season.
Attendance at the presentations on Friday, March 26 was excellent, with the majority of winners traveling to Toowoomba to collect their awards for the State competition.

Excellent support for local show crop competitions
02 April 2004: Close to $5000 worth of prizes and trophies were presented at the Pittsworth show crop competition on Saturday, March 6. Pittsworth Show Society President, Robin Krieg said the excellent support from both sponsors and entrants were a highlight of this year's show.
