Pacific Seeds men of Movember get hairy for a good cause

A dedicated group of male Pacific Seeds staff members arrived at work hairier and earlier every day during November, all in the name of charity.

The staff members spent November growing moustaches to support Movember – a national fund raising event designed to increase awareness of men’s health issues.

Although the growth rates of the men’s moustaches varied during the month, their combined efforts raised more than $500 towards funding for male health issues including prostate cancer and male depression.

Managing Director Chris Bazley, a Movember participant, said he was proud of the support that all Pacific Seeds team members had given to the event.

“As a company we are committed to the well-being of our customers and each other and participating in Movember is a positive and uniting way for us to do our bit to promote men’s health,” Mr Bazley said.

Movember at Pacific Seeds will culminate with the announcement of the winner of “best Pacific Seeds Moustache”, which will be judged by all staff (and may possibly be followed soon after by a good shave).
