Citizenship back to Citizenship Bake off raises highest funds ever - August 21, 2006
As with previous years, the beneficiaries of the money raised was the Royal Brisbane Children's Hospital. The event relies on the generosity of the staff and management of Pacific Seeds to be a continuing success and all the dishes and preparation time is donated by the staff with the resulting feast fed to staff for a donation. This year's event raised $368.50, the highest amount in the bake-off's history. With a variety of categories for the budding chefs to choose from, variety was the order of the day and a wide range of dishes was savoured by staff and visitors who represented prize sponsors Philp Brodie Grains and HSBC Bank.
